Why Tirada

  • You pay much less each month. At 10,000 subscribers, MailerLite Comfort is €79; Tirada is €13.66 on Lite or €33.66 on Pro. At 100,000 it's €419 against €91.60.
  • A growing list doesn't move you up a tier. On MailerLite, go over yours and you're moved to the next one and charged, and any address that was active during the billing cycle counts, even if you delete it afterwards.
  • Charging costs less from day one. Both keep 0%, but on MailerLite you need Comfort (€17 a month at 1,000 subscribers) and on Tirada Lite it's €5.87.
  • Your AI prepares and you confirm in the dashboard. MailerLite's MCP can schedule or send a campaign with only a confirmation in the chat; Tirada's can't confirm any send, and it sees your readers' emails masked.

Pricing, in numbers

MailerLite charges by active subscribers. Unsubscribed and bounced addresses don't count, but any address that was active during the billing cycle does, even if you delete it later. Comfort, the cheapest plan that sells paid newsletters (at 0% commission), lets you send ten times your tier each month; Power has no such cap and costs more. The table uses Comfort's euro prices.

Monthly price with one send a week (4.33 emails per subscriber). MailerLite: the tier that covers that list, as published on 20 October 2026. Tirada: plan plus €2 per 10,000 emails, excluding VAT. Your own domain on Tirada, €2 more a month, isn't included.

Since both keep 0% of your subscriptions, the difference is only the plan, and it grows with your list: at 1,000 subscribers MailerLite is €17 and Tirada Lite €5.87; at 50,000, €279 against €48.30. Comfort also has usage limits: 50 active automations, 10 forms and 10 sites or landing pages. If you pay a year upfront, MailerLite takes off 10% and Tirada gives you two months free.

Your AI and your agents

MailerLite launched its official MCP server in July 2025, as a beta, and today lists it as a standard plan feature. It connects with OAuth and has about 77 read and write tools: subscribers, groups, segments, campaigns, automations, forms, templates and webhooks, including deleting subscribers or campaigns. On the free plan access is limited and doesn't include sending; from Comfort it's full.

Campaigns are created as drafts, and MailerLite says your assistant can't send one without your explicit confirmation: first it shows you how many people it goes to. That confirmation happens in the AI chat, with no step in the MailerLite dashboard, and its schedule_campaign tool schedules or sends the campaign. Its REST API, on any paid plan, can send a campaign to the whole audience instantly.

On Tirada the MCP comes with every plan, Lite included. Your assistant gets nine diagnostic tools (why an email didn't arrive, what your domain is missing, why a send was paused, what happened in an import) plus the API operations you approve, such as preparing a draft or getting a send ready. Neither the agent nor the API can confirm it: a person always does that in the dashboard. Your readers' emails reach it masked, and you can revoke each connection. How to connect it.

When MailerLite is the better choice

MailerLite suits you if you want to start for free: its free plan allows 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails a month, and its 14-day trial needs no card. It also wins if you need marketing tools Tirada doesn't have: up to 50 active automations on Comfort (unlimited on Power), pop-ups, a website builder with a blog and landing pages, surveys, digital products and call bookings at 0%, Shopify and WooCommerce integrations, delivery by time zone, multivariate tests and RSS campaigns.

For transactional email it has MailerSend, its sister product. Tirada has no automations beyond the welcome email, no website builder beyond your publication's site, and no e-commerce integrations.

How to move from MailerLite

  1. On MailerLite, export your active subscribers to CSV. Copy the campaigns you want to keep: Tirada imports subscribers, not the campaign archive.
  2. On Tirada, import the CSV. You get a report of who got in and why each of the rest didn't.
  3. Connect your domain to send and publish from it (€2 a month) and your Stripe account to get paid.
  4. If you charge for a newsletter on MailerLite, Tirada doesn't take over existing Stripe subscriptions: your paying readers subscribe again on your Tirada page. Tell them first, and don't cancel their subscriptions on MailerLite until they've moved.
